Ephraim Chakuzuza MbodzaPrincipal Officer
E.C. Mbodza is the founder partner of the firm. Upon completion of his accounting degree at UWIST, Cardiff in 1984 E.C. Mbodza joined Anglo American Corporation Services Ltd in October 1984 where he spent the 9 and half years in various capacities ranging from being a Graduate Accountant to Assistant Company Secretary responsible fo Zimbabwe Alloys Ltd. E.C. Mbodza, who is a qualified Chartered Secretary and Chartered Cetified Accountant, left Anglo in April 1993 to start up Vali Accounting and Secretarial Services.
He is a member of numerous boards of directors for both provate and parastatal organizations and currently a member of the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe Board. UUnder his leadeership the firm has provided accounting, audit, tax advisor, company secretarial ad corporate business consultancy to many companies, NGOs, local authorities, schools, hotels, real estates, law firms and insurance companies e.g. Africare, Spirit Age Group, Zimcare Trust, The Just Children Foundation, German Agro Action, Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe Woman’s Resources Centre and Nertwork to name a few.
He is a member of the Public Accountants and Auditors Board (PAAB), a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in Zimbabwe, an Associate Member of the Institute of Certified Tax Accountants’ (ICTA) and also registered as an associate member with the Zambian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Jabulani MavimbaSenior Partner
Jabulani Mavimba is the senior partner. Upon completion of his accounting degree he joined Coopers and Lybrand in 1980 as a Chartered Accountant Trainee and rose to the position of Audit Supervisor in 1984. J. Mavimba joined OK Zimbabwe in 1986 where he held a position of Finance Manager. He later joined Red Star Zimbabwe in 1989 where he spent 2 years as a General Manager. J. Mavimba joined Star Africa in 1991 and he was a Chief Financial Officer. He also worked at Sugar Division in 1993 as a Managing Director where he spent 4 years. He then joined Art Corporation in 1997 where he was a Managing Director and spent 3 years there. In the year 2000, he joined Larfage as Managing Director. He later went to Superior Holdings as Managing Director in 2003 before he joined Ernest and Young in 2007.
